Heated engine:
The heating flange consists of a conical disc and the heater is clamped in place by clamping. This type of heater is used for engines where the coolant chamber is large enough to accommodate the heating element. It is most commonly used for cars with large engines and consequently large coolant chambers. This heating system shall only be fitted to cars with an engine cylinder block made of cast iron.
Engine preheater heaters, MKMS cable sets and GL series cables are selected strictly according to the car model.

To maximize the output from the preheating system with minimum energy consumption and environmental impact, use the connection periods shown in the table below.
When +10°C approx. 1h

When -5°C approx. 1.5h
When -10°C approx. 2h
When -20°C approx. 3h
Use either an external outdoor timer or an integrated programmable Calix Bluetooth timer to simplify planning and the use of the preheating system.
