Synthetic engine oil is suitable for year-round use with normal inflation and turbocharging in both conventional and racing high-performance (powerful) gasoline and light diesel engines, when the manufacturer recommends the use of SAE viscosity class SAE 10W-60 and quality classes ACEA A3/B3, A3/B4, API SN/CF or earlier motor oils.
Castrol EDGE Titanium FST 10W-60 is the only motor oil approved by Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) BMW AG for use in BMW M model engines. This engine oil is suitable for use in the majority of motor vehicle engines in the group (with years of manufacture up to 2007) where the vehicle manufacturer requires an engine oil that complies with VW 501.01/505.00 approval. Not suitable for use in engines with extended oil change intervals or engines with exhaust gas aftertreatment systems equipped with diesel particulate filters (DPF) and triple catalytic converters (TWC), unless otherwise specified by the vehicle manufacturer. Always refer to the engine owner's manual, SAE viscosity grade, engine oil grades and OEM requirements when selecting engine oil.
