LOCTITE EA 3430 - 2-component epoxy adhesive that hardens in five minutes, ensuring an optically transparent gluing line. The product adheres very strongly to various surfaces and is water resistant. The glue is general purpose and ideal for many jobs around the house. Due to the very transparent gluing lines, it is also suitable for gluing glass, decorative panels and windshields. The product is easy to use due to its medium viscosity and fast setting time at room temperature.

Instructions for use

1. Surfaces must be clean, dry and free of grease to achieve the best bonding performance. For high-strength structural joints, special surface treatment can increase the strength and durability of the joints.
2. To use, resin and hardener must be mixed. The product can be applied directly from the double cartridges by dispensing through the mixer head (supplied separately). Discard the first 3-8 cm of the mixed mass. When using two cartridges or larger quantities of adhesive, mix thoroughly by weight or volume in the proportions specified in the product description table. When mixing by hand, weigh or measure the desired amount of resin and hardener and mix thoroughly. Mix for about 15 seconds after a uniform color is obtained.
3. Do not mix more than 20 g of mass, as too much heat may build up. Mixing smaller amounts will minimize heat build-up.
4. After mixing, apply the glue as soon as possible on one surface to be joined. Apply glue evenly to both surfaces for maximum adhesion. The parts should be assembled immediately after the glue has been mixed.
5. The working time of the adhesive is ≤4 minutes at 22 °C. Higher temperatures and larger quantities will shorten this working time.
6. Keep the assembled parts from moving. The joint must be completely dry before starting any operational loads.
7. Excess uncured glue can be removed with an organic solvent (e.g. acetone).
8. After use and before the adhesive hardens, mixing and application equipment should be cleaned with hot soapy water.

   Storage
   Store the product in an unopened container in a dry place.
