Calix's battery charger has an electronically controlled charging curve with advanced switch-mode charging technology that protects the battery against overcharging and enables connection for a longer period of time.
They can also handle parallel loads, which means that if a consumer (lighting, radio, etc.) draws power during charging, the charger takes this into account and supplies the consumer with power at the same time as charging takes place. Temperature-compensated charging voltage allows them to charge from -40° to +60°.
