The Calix BC 2412 battery charger is designed for fixed installation and for charging all types of lead batteries with a capacity of more than 30Ah.
The Calix BC 2412 charger is ideal for vehicles and applications that consume a lot of energy and need to be constantly charged, such as city buses and distribution vehicles.
The Calix BC 2412 is completely sealed, which prevents the penetration of water, oil and other substances. Since the chargers are protected against reverse polarity and short circuit, the internal electronics do not require an external fuse.
The BC 2412 also has a temperature sensor, which is integrated into the negative cable (black). The sensor optimizes charging at different ambient temperatures. The charger also has a built-in overheat protection that automatically limits battery charging if the surface temperature of the charger's aluminum housing exceeds 65° C.
