LOCTITE 5188 is an extremely flexible sealant that hardens when exposed to the airless space between closely fitting metal surfaces. It is designed to seal rigid metal joint joints, especially if the joint surface may be slightly contaminated with oil. The product is perfect for applying to aluminum where very good adhesion is required. Forms a low-pressure, instant sealing layer. Designed for sealing rigid flanges of transmissions and engine housings.
